Bobby Brannigan grew up working in his family-owned Italian grocery store in Brooklyn, NY. While helping his dad create an e-commerce website for his store, he realized the challenges that independent grocers face in creating an online experience consistent with in-store and what a tremendous opportunity it could be for small businesses to get more business by simply being online and delivering. Soon after, Mercato was born.
Mercato is a grocery technology platform that provides on-demand delivery for independent grocers nationwide. After a successful first year in business, Mercato joined Loeb.nyc, and Talia, as Executive Creative Director and Designer, contributed to the rebrand, visual positioning and messaging. Talia designed all of the B2B marketing materials including the B2B Welcome kit, merchant website pages and email templates. Talia also advises them on DTC and B2B marketing strategy.
